DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) honored the management staff
that was associated with the Qatar national squad that won the WAFF
Championship for Men earlier this month.
Qatar beat Jordan in the final to land the winner's trophy after a
tense final on January 7.
The tournament - which started on December 25 - featured nine national sides.
The QFA luncheon was held at the Diplomatic Club.
Saud Al Mohannadi, Vice President, QFA, delivered a speech praising
the role of the backroom staff and the players in wining the title.
Qatar Stars League (QSL) Vice President Hani Balan, QFA Board Memebers
and other officials were also present.
Mansour Al Ansari, Executive Director of national teams committee, was also present alongsideSaeed Al-Misnad, Technical Adviser of QFA.
Al Ansari also lauded the commitment of the players and the backroom
staff in the build-up of the tournament and during the two-week
championship.
