The Qatar Football Association (QFA) signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Football Federation Of Kazakhstan (FFK), yesterday in the QFA HQ in Doha, Qatar.
FFK, represented by their President Mr.Yerlan Kozhagapanov has arrived in Qatar as part of a larger intergovernmental state visit of Kazakhstan with the State of Qatar October 25-26, headed by their nation’s President Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev.
FFK President met with QFA Vice President and AFC Vice President Mr. Saoud Al Mohannadi and discussed about the long friendship and football history that connects the two federations since the days when FFK was still under the AFC.
The two federations aim to establish a closer cooperation between themselves and this agreement intends to specify ways of sharing expertise and resources, while at the same time supporting the development of football in both nations. A joint workgroup will now be established, to examine the framework in detail, create an action plan with key deliverables and present a timeline of activities that both Federations can follow and report on.
The FFK President was joined by the FFK Head of International Relations, Mr. Tuplar Mansurov, whereas the QFA Vice President was joined by the General Secretary, Mr. Mansoor Al Ansari, the Executive Director of the President’s Office, Mr. Ali Daoud, and the Executive Director of Strategy and Institutional Development, Mr. Mushtaq Al Waeli.
