DOHA: As the Emir Cup final is fast approaching, the Qatar Football Association (QFA) is organising countless exciting activities this weekend in Souq Waqif from 5-7 May to engage the fans in the biggest football event of the year.
The activities will offer a number of games for all ages which include face painting where fans can have their face painted in the colors of their favorite Qatari clubs, and onsite printing where fans can dress up in football props, snap a photo and share on social media using #EmirCup hashtag or print them on site.
A football juggler will also be performing to show awesome football tricks and teach fans and kids new tricks.
Futchi rebounder, the revolutionary game system which combines fun with skill development will also be available for the fans to try. Players will play by kicking the ball against a spring net that rebounds the ball to their opponent or themselves.
The activities will be moving to Villaggio Mall on 12 and 13 May, then to Gulf Mall on 19 May.
The fans activities are set to captivate souq and mall-goers, as well as football fans with its exciting and interactive elements and entertainment. It will be a meeting point for fans to play interactive games, take part in the Emir Cup fever and learn about the Emir Cup.
The final match is set for kick off on 20 May at 7:00pm in Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium (Al Sadd Sports Club).
