DOHA: QFA PresidentSheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al
Thani has backed Gulf Cup taking place in Kuwait, saying the
event in December would foster goodwill among the regional
football family.
He said the event should go ahead as planned as Gulf Cup clearly
remained the top event for football fans in the region.
QFA President also assured that Qatar will gladly feature in the event.
Qatar won the 22nd edition in Riyadh last November.
