DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin
Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Tuesday chaired the Annual General
Meeting.
The AGM was attended by Vice President Saud Al Mohannadi, members of
the Executive Committee including Ahmed Abdel Aziz Al Buainain, Hani
Balan, Ibrahim Khalil Al Mohannadi, Ali Abdullah Thawadi and Mansoor
Ansari, Secretary General of QFA.
At the meeting it was decided that Khalifa Khamis Al Sulaiti and Ali
Abdullah Thawadi will continue to be part of the QFA Executive
Committee.
The topics of two vacant positions on QFA's Executive Committee was
also discussed. The QFA President said the members of the General
Assembly will be notified when new electoral lists are made for new
elections.
The AGM also debated in detail about the QFA balance sheets and audits
of last year's spendings. The budgetary matters for the next year were
also discussed in detail.
The last AGM was held on December 14, 2014.
Representatives of Qatar Stars League (QSL) clubs and members of
Qatargas (the Second Division) league teams were also present during
Tuesday's AGM.
