LONDON: Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin
Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani met with Greg Clarke, chairman of The
Football Association, on the sidelines of Aspire4Sport conference.
The two officials discussed wide-ranging matters relating to football
and World Cup in general. The two also discussed ways and means to
develop football in the two countries.
Matters relating to the 2022 FIFA World Cup, to be hosted in Qatar,
were also discussed.
Qatar national squad often visits in England for training camps ahead
of the key games.
The QFA, it is understood, is keen to take advantage of the pioneering
English football experience in various fields.
