ZURICH: The President of the Qatar Football Federation
(QFA) Shaikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Thani on
Saturday met with FIFA chief Gianni Infantino.
The meeting took place at FIFA headquarters in Zurich.
The two officials discussed matters of mutual interest
besides exchanging notes on Qatar's readiness to host
the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
The QFA President thanked the FIFA President for the meeting.
This was the second meeting between the two since Infantino's
visit to Doha on May 19 when Qatar inaugurated its first World
Cup venue the Khalifa International Stadium.
