DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani has met with football and sports officials in Brazil during his on-going two-day official trip, details showed on Sunday.
The QFA President also met with Marco Polo Del Nero, President of the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), and discussed matters of mutual interest.
Sheikh Hamad also met with Antonio Carlos Nunes, Vice President of CBF.
Qatar's ambassador to Brazil HE Mohammed Hayki was also present during the meetings as was Consul General Abdul Aziz al-Mahmoudi.
Brazil's Sports Minister Leonardo Picciani is also expected to meet with QFA President.
Qatar, hosts of 2022 FIFA World Cup, and Brazil, who hosted the 2014 FIFA World Cup, also looked at ways of developing football in both countries and around the world.
