DOHA: Qatar Football Association (QFA) President Sheikh Hamad bin
Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani on Tuesday met with Roberto Mancini who
currently manages Inter Milan.
The two exchanged notes on football in general during the meeting that
took place at QFA President's office at the 'Home of Football' at Al
Bidda Tower.
Matters related to developing club football was also discussed in detail.
The two later exchanged mementos with Mancini presenting a club jersey
to QFA President.
Sheikh Hamad and Mancini also discussed the hosting of the forthcoming
clash between Inter Milan and PSG in Doha on December 30.
As a player Mancini was best known for his time at Sampdoria, where he
played more than 550 matches, and helped them win the Serie A league
title, four Coppe Italia and the European Cup Winners' Cup.
He was capped 36 times for Italy, taking part at UEFA Euro 1988 and
the 1990 FIFA World Cup.
