Thani on Saturday praised the support of Qatar fans who turned
out in large numbersfor the World Cup qualifying game on Thursday.
Qatar beat China 1-0 in their Group C clash played at a packed Jassim
Bin Hamad Stadium.
Sheikh Hamad said: "We got excellent fan support against China. Now
our next match is against Madlives. We hope we get similar support."
"It will be a tough match. We need to win the next game also," the QFA
president said.
Qatar host Maldives on October 13 at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
