DOHA: The Qatar Football Federation (QFA) has received an invitation
from its Swiss counterpart to send Qatari referees for an exchange
program with the Swiss Football Association (SFA).
QFA Referees are set to manage two matches in the Second Division,
details showed on Monday.
The first match will be on 29/10/2017 and will bring together the
Neuchâtel Xamax FCS and FC Wohlen.
The second match will be played on 24/11/2017 and will bring together
FC Rapperswil and Jona FC Vaduz.
QFA has decided to send two of their referees for the said matches
later this month.
As per the exchange program deal between QFA and SFA, Swiss
international referee Alain Bieri – a full international for FIFA
since 2011 – has managed QNB Stars League matches.
