DOHA: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) on Thursday signed a cooperation pact with the Greek Football Federation.
The MoU was signed at the home of football Al Bidda Tower by QFA President Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani and Evangelos Grammenos, Presedint of the Greek Football Association and Alexandros Dedes, Secretary General of HFF.
Also present at the meeting were QFA Vice President Soud Al Mohannadi, Secretary General Mansoor Al Ansari and other top officials.
QFA and HFF have agreed to have bilateral exchanges at all levels of football with direct aims of boosting the young talent in both countries.
The officials of both countries also said they would seek ways and means to play each other's national teams when possible.
The visiting delegation was also updated on the development work related to the 2022 FIFA World Cup to be held in Qatar.
The visiting delegation officials were given a detailed look into the new Qatar venues being built for the 2022 FIFA World, in addition to a visit to Aspire Academy, the world's largest indoor sports facility.
At the end of the meeting souvenirs were exchanged by both parties.
