QFA suspends Ahmed Yasser

DOHA: Ahmed Yasser will not feature with the national team until further notice, Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced on Sunday. ‎QFA has also decided to hold his dues after Yasser featured as a member of the Qatar squad during 2018 FIFA World Cup and 2019 Asian Cup joint qualifying matches. The decision comes in the wake of i‎ndiscipline shown by the player, QFA said. The Qatar team, coached by Daniel Carreno, is top of Group C with 15 points from five qualifies this year.
