DOHA: The Qatar Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has decided to cancel the second yellow card that resulted in the expulsion of Al Rayyan player Franck Kom.
Kom, the 29-year-old Cameroon midfielder, was sent off of the match against Umm Salal in the opening round of the new QNB Stars League season on Saturday, September 11, 2021.
The decision of the Disciplinary Committee was announced following a request to review the decision was made by Al Rayyan, who managed a 2-2 draw after conceding two goals in the match held at Thani bin Jassim Stadium.
