QFA's Disciplinary Committee issues key decisions

DOHA: The Disciplinary Committee (DC) of the Qatar Football Association (QFA) held its fourth meeting on Tuesday, 3rd of October, at the Federation's headquarters in Al Bidda Tower. The meeting was chaired by Hassan Al Hammadi and attended by all members.       The committee issued a number of important decisions:     Al Rayyan   1 - The DC has prevented Sheikh Saud bin Khalid Al Thani, President of Al Rayyan, from entering the changing rooms and sitting on the bench for upcoming two games in the QNB Stars League. The club has also been fined QR 50,000 following Sheikh Saud's protest against the decisions of the referee during the course of the game between Al Rayyan and Duhail on 29/09/2017.     2 Ali Salem Afifa, football director at Al Rayyan, has been barred from entering the changing rooms and sitting on the bench for two games in addition to a fine amounting QR 50,000.    
  1. Mazkar Al-Shafi, team manager of Al-Rayyan football team, was also
penalised for contesting the referee's decisions in the match against Duhail on 29/09/2017.  
  1. Al Rayan has been fined QR 20,000 due to insufficient crowd control
in the match between Al Rayyan and Duhail on 29/09/2017.     5 Al Rayyan was fined  an amount of QR 30,000 as a result of fans throwing bottles of water into the field in the game Al Rayyan and Duhail. The decision was made after the DC studied the the stadium security report.     ** Al-Markhiya     The DC has fined Mubarak Al-Nuaimi, President of Al Markhiya Club, QR 30,000 as a result of his public statements against the QFA through the media.     ** Al-Ahli     Yacin Chikhoui of Al-Ahli has been suspended for one match and fined QR 5,000 for unsportsmanlike behavior against an opponent in his team's match with Umm Salal on 30/09/2017.     ** Al Gharafa   The DC has penalized Saad Sattam Al-Shammari, Deputy Football Director at Al Gharafa, as a result of his protest against the referee's decisions in the match against Al Sadd on 29/09/2017.     ** Al Sailiyah     Al-Sailiya has been urged to exhibit sportsman spirit following rude behavior of their players in the match against Al-Markhiya on 28/09/2017.
