DOHA: The second phase of a referees workshop currently being staged
in Ghent, Belgium, has concluded, Qatar Football Association (QFA)
said on Saturday.
Referees from Qatar and the African continent are featuring in the
August 3-22, 2015, workshop, details have revealed.
The workshop is for elite referees who undergo fitness drills besides
attending lectures delivered by football experts.
A series of events were held during the first phase (August 9-12).
Video screenings were also carried out during lectures attended by
dozens of referees from around the world.
Essam Abd El Fatah, an Egyptian football referee since 2001, is also
featuring at the workshop.
The attendees have also visited sports venues during their stay in Ghent.
