TEHRAN, IRAN: QFA President has urged the Qatar squad players
to stay focused in their 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying match against
Iran on Thursday.
Qatar play Iran at Azadi Stadium.
"We are playing a strong side. We must stay focused. We have to
remain alert and focused," Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed
Al Thani said on Wednesday.
"This is a difficult assignment but I am sure our boys are ready for
the challenge.
"Qatar players have shown great commitment in training and in
friendly games.
"We will play to win. We have played at this venue many times''.
"Qatar under Jose Carreno knows the strengths and weaknesses
of Iran. It will be a great game," he said.
