SUWON: Defender Musaab Kamal has assured the backline of Qatar squad
will 'show team spirit' against Korea in their 2018 FIFA World Cup
qualifying game on Wednesday.
Qatar's dodgy defending allowed goals against Iran and Uzbekistan, two
sides that beat 'Al Annabi' last month.
"It is not an impossible task to beat a top side like Korea. We will
do our best and return with points," Kamal said on Tuesday.
"Every player knows that small lapses in those two games cost us the
matches. This time we will be stronger in defense," he said.
"Now every player is geed up to make up for those two losses," the
Qatari defender said.
"We know team spirit will do the trick. That's our strength as we play
with a lot of energy. That will be our weapon, God Willing, against
Koreans also," he said.
"We deserved better results last month but we could not close the
games well. This time we won't repeat those mistakes," he said.
"We know the Korean style of play. We have seen their recent
performances. Hopefully we will come out on tops," he said.
"You will see a different Qatari side tomorrow and in the remaining
games," he said.
