Doha, 5th December, 2016: The Local Organising Committee (LOC) of the Qatar Airways Match of Champions between FC Barcelona and Al Ahli Saudi FC continues to sell match tickets which will be hosted in Doha, capital city of Qatar on December 13 in Thani Bin Jassim Stadium (Al Gharafa Stadium) at 7pm.
Due to the record demand witnessed on the online ticket sales last week, print tickets will be sold in Villaggio and Gulf malls starting from today December 5, from 4-9pm. The mall ticket booths can be accessed through gate 2 of both malls.
The three batches of tickets released on Qatar Football Association’s (QFA) website took just a few hours to get sold out. A total of approximately one million visitors have visited QFA’s website to try and buy a ticket.
Making the fans journey easier, Qatar Airways Holidays has offered fans of both teams to book Flight + Hotel + Match Ticket package & Flight + Match Ticket package online on their website.
The gradual release of ticket batches highlights the LOC’s and Qatar Airways’ efforts to provide an opportunity for a greater number of fans from various segments of the community to buy a ticket for the match.
The LOC for the match said it was delighted with the demand shown by the fans during the release of the three batches for tickets previously, showcasing the rising excitement ahead of the match between the Spanish and Saudi Arabian champions in Qatar and the region.
As the official sponsor of the two football giants, Qatar Airways will host the match.
