Doha: Qatar U-19 national team lost to Uzbekistan 2-4 in a
friendly match played ay Al Sailiya Stadium.
Qatar will next play Iran on October 21 before playing India on
the 28th of the same month.
The friendlies come in the back of a training camp in Slovenia
where Qatar beat Slovenia’s Olimpija Ljubljana 4-2 before drawing
with Dynamo Zagreb of Croatia 2-2.
The matches have been scheduled to give the squad match
practice ahead of the November 4 to 8 AFC U-19 Qualifying
Championship to be held in Doha.
The qualifying event will also feature teams from Lebanon and
Iraq.
