DOHA: Qatar Olympic squad ‎beat their Australian counterparts 3-1 in a friendly played at Grand Hamad Stadium. Qatar played the game in preparation for the AFC Asian Cup to be held in Doha in January. The top three sides at the aforementioned event will qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games. Earlier last week, Qatar crushed UAE 5-2 in another friendly. Akram Afif (21), Ahmed Alaa (35) and ‎Ahmed Mohammed (53) scored for the winners. Coach Felix Sanchez's side will play another friendly against Ivory Coast at the end of this month.
