DOHA: Qatar striker Magid Mohammed on Monday said his team was
all geared up to take the Syrian team when they sides clash in a 2018
FIFA World Cup qualifying match.
The Asian Zone game will be played at Al Sadd Stadium on Tuesday.
"I can't add to what the coach has said. Our situation is difficult. It will
be a tough game," Magid said during a pre-match press conference.
"They have good players. We have the home advantage," he added.
"Hopefully we will have a strong performance. The pressure is there
but Qatar players have experienced to tackle the situation," he sad.
"It is clear the morale is high and hopefully we will win," he added.
The match starts at 7:00pm Qatar Standard Time.
