DOHA: Slovakian winger Vladimir Weiss and Hungarian striker Christian
Nemeth have both joined training after being allowed rest by Al Gharafa
management, it emerged on Wednesday.
The two players were given extra nine days of resting following their
hectic Euro 2016 commitments with their respective national sides.
Al Gharafa, the former Qatar Stars League (QSL) champions, are training in
Lisbon.
The squad that arrived on Monday hit the training pitch on Tuesday.
The players underwent fitness drills in two separate sessions.
Al Gharafa, ‎coached by Pedro Caixinha, will also play a friendly during their
pre-season training camp in Lisbon.
The game will be played on July 22, the club said on Wednesday.
Al Gharafa finished 9th last season.
