DOHA: Al Gharafa's 5-4 win over Al Ahli on Saturday has made coach
Zico desperate for more victories.
The former Qatar Stars League (QSL) champions edged past a resolute Al
Ahli side on Saturday.
"I congratulate the players for a well-fought natch and win," Zico
said at a press conference.
"We could have lost this match but the boys stuck it out and fought
well," the Brazilian added.
"The morale of the boys is high and I can see they want more. I want
more," he said. "They must keep fighting and keep exploiting
situations where they can score," he added.
When asked about a disallowed goal, Zico said: "I can't comment on the
referee's performances. Thankfully this decision did not affect us or
the result."
Zico said: "Hopefully we will keep picking up points to move closer to
the leaders."
Al Gharafa are fourth behind Al Sadd, Lekhwiya and Eljaish in the points table.
