DOHA: AFC President Shaikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa has
congratulated Al Sadd futsal side for getting into the Guinness Book
of World Records for most consecutive number of wins.
Sheikh Salman met Ali Khalifa Al Ammari, chief of Al Sadd futsal
squad, and handed over the certificate.
The AFC chief said it was an incredible achievement by Al Sadd's
futsal side to record such a high number of wins.
He added that Al Sadd management deserves credit for creating an
environment in which their players were able to record a string of
victories.
Sheikh Salman added that AFC was keen to promote the sport of futsal
across the Asian region.
Al Amari thanked Al Sadd's Board of Directors headed by Sheikh
Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Thani for their wholehearted support for Al
Sadd's futsal set-up.
