DOHA: Al Ahli got back to winning ways in the Qatar Stars League. In a keenly-contested game at the Al Arabi Stadium, Milan Macala’s boys got the better of Al Kharaitiyat 1-0. In a game mostly of missed chances, Iranian midfielder Mostafa Jabari made the difference, heading home a Mulota Kabangu cross from the right in the 70th minute. The win helped Ahli catch up with Al Sadd on 31 points, though the former are fourth on goal difference. Meanwhile, Al Sailiya stayed fifth after they defeated Al Khor 2-0. Brazilian midfielder Marcelo Camacho (25th) and Burkina Faso striker Moumouni Dagano (80th) found the target for the winners. Elsewhere, Al Rayyan held in-form Umm Salal 1-1. Othman El Assas put Umm Salal ahead through a brilliant free-kick in the third while Rayyan drew parity through Babou Sidiki in the 91st.
