Doha: Mr Mansoor Al-Ansari, General-Secretary the Qatar Football Association (QFA), participated in the meeting of the Financial Committee of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF), which was held on the margin of the ongoing 2023 Asian Cup Qatar in the presence of the members of the Committee. The Committee reviewed the most recent updates on the financial support from AFC and FIFA, approved the minutes from the previous meeting, and addressed several financial matters about the West Asia Football Federation tournament hosting agreements, including costs and fines for withdrawal or hosting. The 2024 proposed budget was approved by the Committee, which also reviewed the financial policies and procedures adopted by the federation.
