DOHA: Al Arabi's Bahraini defender Syed Mohammed Adnan has injured his left foot during a Qatar Stars League (QSL) clash on Saturday.
Adnan, who was playing on home turf against Al Sailiyah, has suffered a suspect fracture in his foot, the club said on Saturday.
Further details on the extend of the injury will be announced in the coming days, the QSL side said.
A club official said Adnan, 30, would be out of action for at least three months, a club official said.
If Adnan remains out of action for long period of time, then the club will have to look for another overseas player, the official added.
The new QSL season kicked-off last week.
