DOHA: Al Gharafa blanked lowly-placed Muaither Sports Club 3-0 in the 21st round of the Qatar Stars League. Nene (19th), Lisandro Lopez (60th) and Moayad Hassan (83rd) found the target as Gharafa won for the first time under Diego Aguirre. His debut against Al Sadd had ended in a 2-4 failure. Meanwhile, Umm Salal continued their winning march, as the men in orange defeated Al Sailiya 1-0. Brazilian striker Victor Simeos (67th) scored the all-important goal. Elsewhere, Al Kharaitiyat beat Al Arabi 3-1. Abdullah Marafiya’s own goal gave Kharaitiyat the lead in the 10th minute while a brace from Youssef Kaddioui (35th and 57th) made it an easy win. Karim Ziani struck the lone goal for the losers in the 83rd.
