In other matches, Mesaimeer beat Al Waab 2-1 to post their first win of the season, while Al Waab are yet to open their points tally.
Abdul Fadhel Swanon and Hamad Mansour scored the goals for Al Kharaitiyat. In the second match, Mohammed Al Marmour and Junior Rostand scored for Mesaimeer. Adham Abbas scored for Al Waab.
In another match, Al Shahaniya beat Lusail 1-0 courtesy of a goal by Diego de Brito (38th minute). Al Shahaniya now have 6 points,equalling Al Kharaitiyat at the top of the competition’s standings.
Al Bidda and Muaither played a 1-1 draw to share the points. Muhammad Al Sahlawi scored for Muaither while Jostic equalised for Al Bidda.
At the end of the second-round matches, Al Kharaitiyat lead the overall standings with 6 points, followed by Al Shahaniya, Al Markhiya, Lusail, Mesaimeer, Al Bidda, Muaither and Al Waab.
