DOHA: Al Khor, who registered their first victory of the League in the last round, continued their winning run, this time handing title favourites El Jaish a 1-0 defeat at the Lekhwiya Stadium on Sunday.

Juma Mohamed Al Alawi scored the all-important goal in the 38th minute.

Muaither pulled off the day’s another big upset when they thrashed Emir’s Cup champions Al Rayyan 3-0. Ayman Abdulla Adam (7th), Ibou (75th) and Khaled Saif (91st) scored.

Al Ahli continued their incredible march, with the men in green thrashing Al Sailiya 5-2 this time around.

Dioko Kaluyituka Dioko (6th and 65th), Meshal Abdulla (42nd and 67th), and Mojtaba Jabari (79th) scored for the winners while Ilunga Diba (32nd and 75th) found the target for the losers.

Al Gharafa defeated Al Wakrah 2-1. Anas Mubarak (41st) and Lisandro Lopez (71st) scored for Gharafa while Sebastian Saez (48th) found the back of the net for Wakrah.
