Doha: Khalid Mubarak Al-Kuwari, Director of Marketing and Communication at the Qatar Football Association, participated in the fifth meeting of the West Asian Football Federation’s (WAFF) Media and Marketing Committee, held virtually on Wednesday, March 12. As a committee member, Al-Kuwari joined The committee's chairman Ahmed Aqla Al-Anzi, committee member Ahmed Al-Mousawi, and representatives from the WAFF General Secretariat.
The session opened with remarks by the committee chair, followed by the approval of minutes from the fourth meeting held on October 10, 2023. Key agenda items included updates on PRO Company’s operations and tournaments outside its contractual scope, a review of WAFF’s 2025 marketing strategy for its championships, and progress reports on media operations for upcoming tournaments.
The WAFF Media and Marketing Committee convenes regularly to ensure the effective implementation of strategic plans aligned with its annual calendar, reinforcing its role in advancing the federation’s objectives.
