DOHA: Qatar's Al Rayyan landed in Abu Dhabi on Monday and went
straight into training ahead of this week's AFC Champions League match
against UAE side Al Jazira.
The match takes place at Al Jazira's home turf on Tuesday at Mohammed
Bin Zayed Stadium.
Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Al Rayyan will be hoping for good form
they showed against Al Kharaitiyat and Al Ahli in their last two
matches.
Rashid Al Khalifa is heading the Al Rayyan contingent on their Abu Dhabi trip.
“We came to Abu Dhabi in order to have a good victory in our first
match in the competition which will be very hard,” said Al Rayyan
assistant coach Jesus Calderon.
“We prepared well for the match and I hope that the recent results
that we had in the local league will help us to have a good approach
to the match," he added.
