DOHA: Al Shahaniya beat Al Bidda 1-0 in the first round of the Second Division League at Al Khor Stadium. Diego de Brito scored the only goal of the match in the 76th minute of the feisty clash. Three players from Al Bidda were shown the yellow card – Ali Abdulkareem Ali (6), Eithini Marcile (33) and Jean Basile Iroh (74). Two players of Al Shahaniya were also penalized - Salhi Bin Mohammed Yassine (2 and 71) and Illias Hassani (90). Yassine was red-carded after his second yellow. In another match, Lusail beat Muaither 1-0. Abdulrahman Rashid Al Madhaki scored the only goal of the match in the 52nd minute. Lusail’s Eisa Ahmad Ghaderi (40), Abdulrahman Sasi (71) and Abdulrahman Al Shaghmi (72) were shown the yellow cards. Muaither’s Tamir Gamal King (63rd minute) was penalized with a yellow. In the third match, Al Kharaitiyat beat Al Waab 3-2 at Al Wakrah Stadium. Rashid Kanan (17 and 45) and Imad Al Rohli (90 + 3) scored Al Kharaitiyat. Ahmad Salem scored the two goals for Al Waab (47 and 57). Salem was shown a yellow card in the 82nd minute.
