Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) announced the date for the draw of the Round of 16 for the 2024-2025 Amir Cup, in its 53rd edition. The draw will take place on Thursday, 24th of this month, at Andaz Doha Hotel (Sahara Hall) at 11:00 AM.   The draw will follow the conclusion of the preliminary stage matches, which will feature only Second Division clubs based on the standings of the 2024-2025 Second Division League. These matches will follow a single-elimination knockout format, with four (4) teams qualifying to join the Round of 16.   The preliminary stage will feature only Second Division clubs, determined by their standings in the 2024-2025 Second Division League. Matches will follow a single-elimination knockout format, with four teams advancing to the Round of 16. Clubs in the preliminary stage will face off in specific pairings: first-place vs. eighth-place, runner-up vs. seventh-place, third-place vs. sixth-place, and fourth-place vs. fifth-place. The draw for the Round of 16 will occur after these matches conclude.
