DOHA: Qatar Stars League (QSL) side Eljaish will play Uzbek club Nasaf
Qarshi in their opening 2014 Champions League match, it emerged on
Friday.
In another match involving a QSL team, Lekhwiya will tackle the winner
of round 1 and round 2.
The 2014 AFC Champions League will kick off on February 2.
The second round will be held on February 8 and the third on February 15.
A total of 14 teams have qualified for Asia's top club event including
QSL sides Al Sadd and Al Rayyan.
The 2014 AFC Champions League will be the 33rd edition organized by
the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), and the 12th under the current
AFC Champions League title.
The winner will qualify for the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup.
China's Guangzhou Evergrande are the defending champions.
