FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola Reaches Qatar

DOHA: The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour, organised by Coca-Cola, reached Doha on Tuesday. The trophy, which last toured Saudi Arabia, will be on display at several places in Qatar. Qatar Football Association Acting General Secretary Saud Abdulaziz Al Mohannadi, Qatar 2022 Supreme Committee Communications and Marketing Executive Director Nasser Al Khater, ace coach Bora Milutinovic, and a host of officials received the trophy at the HamadInternationalAirport in the morning. In Qatar, it made its first stop at the QFA Technical Committee office in Abu Hamour and was displayed at the adidas store in the Villaggio Mall, where fans got a chance to take photographs with the trophy. Algeria captain Madjid Bougherra, who plies his trade with Qatari club Lekhwiya, was the star attraction.
