Four Teams Share Top Spot in Amateur League

DOHA: With four rounds played in the Qatar Amateur League; things started to take shape at the top of the table with four teams currently sharing the lead with 10 points each. Military Command, Al Maatar, Al Waab and Egyptian Community have all reached the 10-point mark following a draw-filled round four. Al Mataar and Egyptian Community played out keenly fought 1-1 draw in this week’s biggest fixture, only to pave the way for Military Command to carve up a place among the four teams, after beating Al Thakhirah 2-1. Elsewhere, Goa Indian and Kerala Indian battled to a 1-1 draw in the India Derby, while Mackeen crushed Qatar International 4-1.
