DOHA: Al Arabi international midfielder Abdulaziz Hatem has committed his next three years to the Doha based club, it emerged on Saturday.
Hatem, who was featured in the Qatar 2013 Gulf Cup squad, was rumored to being well-disposed to propositions from other QSL clubs suggesting a move by the end of the ongoing season.
"Al Arabi is like my family and I'm so happy to be committing my long-term future here, I've been at this club since I was a child and I'd just like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for their support towards me during my time here", the 25 year-old midfielder said.
Al Arabi are currently at the disappointing eighth position in the Qatar Stars League after eight matches played.
