DOHA: A Football Director at Al Sadd Jafal Rashid has been fined QR 100,000 and
slapped with a five-match ban, it was announced by Qatar Stars
League's (QSL) Disciplinary Committee.
The decision comes after Rashid was found to have used the media
platform to criticize certain decisions during QSL matches. He was
also banned for five QSL matches involving Al Sadd.
The committee officials included Mubarak Al Sulaiti, Abdullah
Al-Mulla, Salman Muhannadi and Ahmed Rumaihi.
In another decision by the QSL Disciplinary Committee, Khalid Ahmed of
Qatar SC was banned for two matches following a red-card incident
involving the player.
Ahmed was found guilty of 'abusing the match officials' following the
referee's decision to sent the Qatar SC player packing.
The player was also fined QR 10,000, it emerged on Wednesday,
