Amman, Jordan: The 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) was held on Saturday, September 27, 2025. The meeting, hosted in the Jordanian capital, saw the participation of the Qatar Football Association (QFA), represented by its General-Secretary, Mr. Mansoor Al-Ansari, and the Head of International Relations, Mr. Mohammed Fakhro.

In accordance with the agenda, the assembly conducted several key procedural items. These included the ratification of the meeting agenda, the appointment of officials to oversee minutes and vote-counting, the confirmation of external auditors, and the approval of the 2025 budget.

The session also involved a comprehensive review of the federation's operations. Members endorsed the minutes of the previous General Assembly from May 2024. WAFF Secretary-General Mr. Khalil Al-Salem presented reports on the federation's work, which were approved alongside the reports of its committees and the 2024 financial statements.
