Doha: Mr Mohammed Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Vice President of the Qatar Football Association; Mr Ahmed Oqla Al Anzi, representing the Kuwaiti Federation; and Mr Hisham Al Zarouni, representing the UAE Federation, were nominated for the vacant positions on the West Asia Football Federation's Executive Committee.
Last Saturday, the thirteenth of this month, the West Asia Football Federation's Executive Committee met to deliberate on a wide range of items and topics.
The meeting, which took place at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Doha on the sidelines of the 2023 Asian Cup Qatar, was presided over by Prince Ali bin Al Hussein, President of the West Asian Federation.
The meeting was also attended by Lieutenant General Jibril Rajoub, First Vice Chairman of the Executive Committee, Sheikh Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa (Bahrain), Second Vice Chairman, and members Mr. Adnan Dirjal from Iraq, Sheikh Mohsen Al Masrouri from Oman. , Mr. Semaan Al-Duwaihy from Lebanon, Mr. Hassan Bashanfar from Yemen, and Ms. Lamia Bahyan from Saudi Arabia.
In addition to the items scheduled for discussion in 2024, the Executive Committee reviewed the federation's report detailing the achievements recorded since the previous Committee meeting in 2023.
