DOHA: In the opening match of Group B in the West Asia Football Federation Championship, Bahrain and Oman played out a goalless draw on Wednesday.
In a rather drab display, both sides failed to deliver the goods at the Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium, only to leave the door open for all possibilities before the two remaining group matches.
Bahrain will take on Iraq on December 28 while Oman will play the same team as well on the 31st of the same month.
The nine-team event is held in Doha from December 25 to January 7.
