Doha: The FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ will be held from December 1st to 18th, 2025, under the supervision of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) for the second time.
His Excellency Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani, Minister of Sports and Youth and President of the Organizing Committee for the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™, stated that the tournament holds a special importance that goes beyond football matches.
He added, "We are proud to host the tournament for the second time, which celebrates the positive values of Arab football and once again highlights sport's ability to bring people together and build bridges of communication."
His Excellency added that the Arab Cup is a platform that brings together players and fans alike, a forum for entrenching the values of unity and solidarity, and enhancing feelings of belonging and a shared identity. It also reflects the Arab youth's passion for sport.
The Minister of Sports and Youth confirmed that the State of Qatar possesses exceptional capabilities when it comes to hosting major sporting events, noting that the Arab Cup represents a new chapter in this rich and diverse sporting legacy that has established Doha as a capital of sport on the global level.
HE Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Thani said the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar 2025™ carries a message calling for Arab unity and represents a window for introducing our authentic culture and ancient heritage. It is also a platform to highlight the unlimited potential of Arab youth in sports and various other fields.
He added, "We are pleased to welcome the world once again to the land of Qatar, especially fans from the region, to enjoy an integrated experience that combines sport and culture."
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA), which granted Qatar the honor of hosting the next three editions of the Arab Cup in 2025, 2029, and 2033, used its international ranking published on April 3rd to determine the nine teams that will qualify directly for the finals, and the other teams that will compete in the preliminary (play-off) round scheduled for November 25th and 26th, just days before the official start of the finals.
