Doha: The Qatar Football Association (QFA) and adidas have agreed to a multi-year partnership that will see the sports brand become the official kit supplier for all QFA teams, providing match and training wear across all categories.
This partnership marks the beginning of a new chapter for QFA and adidas, celebrating Qatar’s proud heritage while looking ahead to an ambitious new era for the national teams.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Mansoor Mohammed Al-Ansari, General Secretary of the QFA, and Mr. Bilal Fares, Senior Vice President and General Manager of adidas EMC, in the presence of representatives from both sides.
On this occasion, Mr. Mansoor Mohammed Al-Ansari, General Secretary of the Qatar Football Association, said: “Signing this partnership agreement with adidas is an important step in strengthening our relationship with one of the world’s leading football brands. We take great pride in this partnership and believe it will have a significant positive impact for both sides, contributing to more success and victories for our national team.”
Mr. Bilal Fares, Senior Vice President and General Manager, adidas EMC, added: “We are honoured to partner with the Qatar Football Association, which appoints adidas as the official kit supplier for the national teams. This partnership represents an important milestone for both adidas and QFA, and we look forward to achieving great success together.”
Qatar’s national teams have previously worn adidas during two distinct periods, most recently between 2003 and 2008. The collaboration rekindles this historic connection, combining innovation, heritage, and passion for football.
The new home kit, unveiled today, will be officially endorsed by the men’s team during the FIFA Arab Cup Qatar, scheduled to take place from 1–18 December 2025.
