DOHA: The Qatar squad, backroom staff and team coach was honoured by
QSL giants Al Sadd after the national side qualified for the 2015
Asian Cup last week.
Qatar will be one of the 16 teams which will feature in the 2015 Asian
Cup to be held in Australia.
Last week, Qatar beat Yemen 4-1 and then beat Malaysia 1-0 to seal
their berth at Asia's top national team event.
Qatar coach Fahad Thani, Team Director Adel Khamis and the players
attended the reception organised by Al Sadd.
Al Sadd officials Khalifa bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Jaffal Rashid, Ghulam
Mohammad Baloch and Ahmad Ansari were also present.
Coach Fahad thanked Al Sadd club for the reception. He added that the
Qatar team would give its best at the Asian Cup in Australia.
The coach thanked his players and backroom staff for 'putting in a
great team effort' to qualify for the event.
