DOHA: Qatar is ready to host two friendly matches involving
the Yemen national team in Doha, it was announced on Monday.
Yemen will play Lesotho on March 20, before taking on Chad on April15.
FIFA has prohibited Yemen from hosting any international matches due to current volatile situation in the Arab country.
Yemen’s most recent international came in the form of a 1-2 defeat to Malaysia in the 2015 AFC Cup qualifiers last week.
Iraqi club teams have also utilized Qatari stadiums as home venues for similar reasons.
