DOHA: The Qatar U-19 football squad is set to return back home after
completing their extensive training camp in Turkey, officials said on
Thursday.
The camp was initially scheduled to end on February 7 but it was later
extended to allow players more practice time, Qatar Football
Association (QFA) officials said.
Qatar played two friendlies against Turkish junior squads also during
their training camp and won both games.
Qatar players were seen in good form in both games, QFA officials said.
The QFA officials with the team said that the match against Galatasary
juniors provided the team with much-needed match practice.
