DOHA: The Qatar youth string will leave for Portugal on a one-week training camp, it emerged on Wednesday.
The camp is part of Qatar Football Association (QFA) preparatory plans for the Asian Cup to be held in Myanmar on October this year.
The Qatar squad is also expected to play two friendlies during their one-week stay in Portugal.
The friendly games are planned for March 17 and 19, against Benfica and the Portugal U-19 national team.
Earlier the Qatari squad undertook a similar training camp in Tunisia in January earlier this year.
