DOHA: The race to the top of the Qatargas League intensified on Monday night as El Jaish claimed a 3-1 win against hosts Al Wakra.
Two first half goals from Mohammed Muntari paved the way for a third consecutive win for El Jaish to reach 15 points, consequently, they now share the Qatargas League top spot with Al Shahaniya, who rallied for a dramatic 3-2 victory over Al Arabi in a match they clinched in the 92nd minute, courtesy of striker Arnen Campos, who countered an Al Arabi equalizer scored just two minutes earlier.
